MADISON, Wis. — A 76-year-old retiree has made Meals on Wheels deliveries part of her weekly routine in Madison, spending her Wednesdays bringing meals and making visits to people at their home.
Vana Steffan has volunteered with Meals on Wheels for 30 years. She said she plans to continue for as long as she can drive and connect with people.
“I enjoy doing it very much,” Steffan said. “As long as I can still drive and connect with people, I will keep doing it.”…
