WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – So far this February in North Central Wisconsin has featured well above average, record-setting, temperatures, little to no snow, and whatever snow was on the ground at the start of the month is long gone. A First Alert for Thursday into Thursday evening for the next weather maker that could bring snow showers, mixed with rain showers at times. This could lead to slippery travel conditions for the Thursday afternoon/evening commute. In addition, there are indications for colder air to move into the Upper Midwest going into and including next weekend.
