A Congressional plan to spend more than $60 billion to help Ukraine battle Russia would waste money on a lost cause, according to some Republican Senators. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin was one of three Senators who discussed the bill to fund Ukraine during a program hosted by the X website, or Twitter. Johnson argued that giving $61 billion to Ukraine would do little to help that country defeat Russia, or achieve peace.
