Watch: Soaking rain & risk of storms in the upcoming week

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – After a break in the unsettled weather for this weekend and Tax Day on Monday, another storm system will be moving from the eastern Rockies toward the Badger State. Rain is expected to arrive on Tuesday morning. As a warm front lifts north Tuesday afternoon & night, a few thunderstorms are possible There is a possibility for storms in the southern parts of the area, and southern Wisconsin to be strong to possibly severe. The main threats will be strong gusty winds, hail, and locally heavy rainfall. The low pressure and cold front will then slide across the region on Wednesday, which will keep the showers in place through the middle day of the week.
