Wisconsin DNR says sturgeon could spawn at any time

NEW LONDON, Wis. (WBAY) – With the warm weather coming this weekend, the DNR says sturgeon could start spawning at any time. On Friday, DNR officials visited the Wolf River in New London to check water temperatures and other conditions. Officials say temperatures today are about 52 degrees, but the water needs to be between 53 to 60 degrees.
