MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Some Wisconsin veterans who were facing criminal charges have turned their lives around, thanks to the help of a Dane County program. The Dane County Veterans Treatment Court consists of a team of professionals from the criminal justice system and veterans service system who mentor veterans involved in the program. The hope is that they can address mental health issues that contributed to the criminal activity.
