Northern lights set to illuminate Northeast Wisconsin: How to see them with the naked eye

MENASHA (WLUK) — The northern lights will be visible for nearly half of the United States Thursday night and it’s an opportunity you don’t want to miss. Unlike recently, Thursday’s viewing should be more robust. A g4 (severe) geo-storm is expected to occur, and will fill the sky with even brighter colors and patterns. The last time Northeast Wisconsin saw a G4 or higher was back in May 2024.
