The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced on Thursday that they have approved permits for Canadian oil company Enbridge. This approval brings Enbridge one step closer to replacing a 40 mile segment of the Line 5 pipeline, which carries crude oil and natural gas from Superior, Wisconsin, through Ashland and Iron Counties, and on to Ontario, Canada.
