Report: WI property taxes up $327M after school referenda

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Tax levies for K-12 schools are going up by $327 million this year in the state, according to the Wisconsin Policy Forum. It comes at a time when half of Wisconsin school districts went to referendum this year. That leads to the question, is it fair for taxpayers to foot this bill?
