DENSE FOG POSSIBLE THIS MORNING… THEN, TWO BOUTS OF SNOW THIS WEEK

We’re under a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY through the mid-morning hours. Mild air flowing over the cold ground has allowed for widespread fog to form across northeast Wisconsin. Some of this fog will be dense during the morning commute, with visibility dropping down to 1/4th of a mile. We also can’t rule out some slick spots on untreated road surfaces, especially on sidewalks and parking lots. That’s most likely to happen across northern Wisconsin. Drivers should allow for extra travel time, slow down, allow for extra following distance, and use their low-beam headlights.
