WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – The relatively mild conditions for late December will stick around right through the end of the year. However, that also means there will be fog, which could be locally dense at times, to contend with. A First Alert that this could impact travel Saturday night into Sunday morning, along with slick spots on the roads that are untreated. Clouds are going to be common on Sunday, with a cool afternoon. Some sun breaks are possible on Monday, following some patchy morning fog. New Year’s Eve and Day are going to be dry but starting to get a bit chillier. Chilly for the late week into the start of next weekend. A week from Sunday, there could be a winter storm impacting the western Great Lakes.
