First Alert Weather: Continued chilly, watching for next chance of snow

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – The first weekend of January will wrap up with some sunshine and chilly conditions. Wind chills will go from sub-zero to around zero as Sunday goes along. The sunglasses will still come in handy, along with the warmer coat for the work week. Temperatures are going to slip back into the teens Tuesday and Wednesday for highs. The next weather maker is a clipper-type system that could produce snow showers Thursday night into Friday morning. This will be on the northern edge of a developing winter storm impacting the central & southern Plains, which will be tracking to the east of the Badger State into the eastern U.S. Friday into the upcoming weekend.
