Staten Island man ID’d as bus driver in crash that killed 5 on I-95 in Virginia

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The driver of a bus involved in a deadly Virginia crash that resulted in five fatalities and 44 injuries is a 48-year-old Staten Island man, according to multiple reports.

Jing S. Dong was operating the bus when it crashed into vehicles slowing for a work zone on southbound I-95 in Stafford County around 2:35 a.m. Friday, according to the Associated Press.
