STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A North Shore community center expects to break ground on brand-new facilities by the end of this year, the Advance/SILive.com learned Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the Children’s Aid Society said the agency plans to break ground on the new Goodhue Community Center in the fall after it recently won the support of the North Shore’s Community Board 1 at its meeting earlier this month.
