Nassau County in the clear as Tornado Warning expires

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Resident in Nassau County on Long Island were told to be on alert around 6:50 p.m. when the National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning that later expired around 7:08 p.m.

Scattered and numerous instances of flash flooding were also expected to hit all parts of New York City, according to the National Weather Service.
