A longtime New Jersey bakery worker remembered for her artistic talents and love of family has died less than one year after a battle with cancer.
Adriana Gonzalez Martinez, 62, of Parlin, died at home surrounded by her family on Friday, Aug. 21, according to her obituary on the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home website. Born in Havana, Cuba, Martinez lived in Parlin for 30 years and worked as a cake decorator in the bakery at Stop & Shop in Keyport. She loved traveling, spending time at the beach, and being with her family.
