STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — In keeping with the Tottenville Civic Association’s mission of fostering civic pride in its historic small town, members have organized an unprecedented Community Festival celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
The really big celebration will come to life on Saturday, Aug. 29, from noon until 6 p.m. in the courtyard entrance of Totten Intermediate School, I.S. 34, off Yetman Avenue just before Pittsville Avenue.
