STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — FDNY units responded to a report of overheated electrical equipment early Tuesday morning at the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge’s MTA Bridges and Tunnels building, according to the Fire Department.
The call came in at approximately 5:10 a.m. for 51 Major Ave., between Lily Pond Avenue and Duer Avenue in Fort Wadsworth, said a spokesperson for the FDNY.
