STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Under the vibrant glow of swirling carnival lights, the historic grounds of Staten Island came alive this weekend as the Richmond County Fair returned for yet another unforgettable celebration of community, culture, tradition — and plenty of late-summer fun.
Since 1980, Historic Richmond Town has proudly hosted the Richmond County Fair on every Labor Day weekend, where more than 15,000 visitors gather on its time-honored campus, transformed into a 25-acre festival.
It’s Richmond Town’s most important annual fundraiser as tickets purchased directly support its mission to preserve and share Staten Island’s history.
As in years past, the event drew lively crowds from near and far, families and visitors who came from across the boroughs to gather to enjoy everything from classic midway rides and live music to local food trucks and agricultural exhibits…
