STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – A 47-year-old man died after falling over a railing on the Staten Island Ferry and into the water last week, officials said. Tyrone Anderson of Queens was located by the NYPD Harbor Unit and pulled from the frigid Hudson by officers near the Whitehall Ferry Terminal, but was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later, according to a spokesman for the NYPD.
