STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – A city Department of Correction officer was arrested overnight in what police described as a domestic dispute on the borough’s North Shore. Johnniemay Witcher, 43, of Clifton, was charged with misdemeanor assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child in connection with the incident, which unfolded around midnight in the defendant’s community.
