STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – A fifth arrest has been made in connection to a disturbing Meiers Corners home invasion in which a 5-year-old girl and a woman were pistol whipped. Tyzay Bennet, 19, of the 100 block of Jersey Street in New Brighton, was arrested Thursday morning and is charged with burglary in the first degree, according to a spokesperson for the NYPD.
