GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — It’s unfortunate that not every day can feature blue skies and the shining sun during the New York State Fair. But for those rainy days, the wet weather shouldn’t wash away your plans of coming down to the Fairgrounds.

“We have hundreds of vendors outside. We also have hundreds of vendors inside,” said State Fair Director Julie LaFave. “We have the animals inside, flower show inside, we have so much to do.”
The Expo Center is one of the busiest hotspots during the Fair. It’s home to the dinosaur exhibit, a fan favorite activity that takes you back to pre-historic times and lets you take a stroll among all those creatures. There are 60 life-like dinosaurs as tall as 80 feet. The exhibit also has a fossil dig, so you just might uncover actual dinosaur remains.
