Memory of 9/11 hero lives on through the work of this Staten Island ‘small town’ charitable foundation

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — For the past 20 years, the John G. Chipura Foundation has been quietly helping people in need. Covering medical costs for children with cancer, repairing homes ravaged by Hurricane Sandy, even hosting an annual blood drive to help support and replenish the New York Blood Center.
