Group accused of knocking on door to steal TV from Staten Island home: NYPD

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) – Two men and two women are accused of attacking the owner of a Staten Island home and stealing his TV on Sept. 4, according to the NYPD.

It happened at a home near Wolkoff Lane and South Avenue around 4:30 a.m. The four suspects are accused of knocking on the door of the residence, which is when the homeowner opened it, according to authorities.

The homeowner, a 33-year-old man, was then punched and hit with an unknown object, police said.

The suspects are then accused of stealing a TV before fleeing the scene in a dark-colored Nissan Rogue.
