Girls Soccer: Livingston and West Orange Tie, 1-1

LIVINGSTON, NJ – The Livingston and West Orange girls soccer teams, both ranked in the state’s top 15, played to a 1-1 tie on Friday afternoon.

West Orange (2-1-1) took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Aminota Diop 14 minutes into the game with an assist from Paige Topping.

Livingston (3-0-1) tied it before halftime, as Casey Conklin converted a helper from Izzy Kilelee into a goal with 12 minutes remaining until halftime.

The Lancers had many more opportunities despite the goals being even. The Lancers attempted 12 shots on goal, with the Mountaineers’ Hannah Amoyaw saving 11 of them. West Orange took just two shots on frame, with the other one being saved by Livingston’s Antonia Giordano.
