STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged with a slashing that occurred in New Brighton last year. Juan Martinez stands accused of the attack on Oct. 4, 2023, around 8:30 p.m., on the 200 block of Jersey Street, according to the criminal complaint and police.
