Westchester County Police have arrested a Queens man they say led police on a high-speed chase that began in Mount Vernon, into Yonkers, and ended in The Bronx. Kieran O’Leary, public information officer for the Westchester County Police Department, told Norwood News the incident began at 9.27 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, when a police officer observed a Nissan Altima traveling at high speed on the northbound Bronx River Parkway at Oak Street in Mount Vernon.
