Boy, 16, gunned down in Brooklyn deli by shooter in Christmas pajamas

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 16-year-old boy was shot and wounded inside a deli in Brooklyn early Wednesday, police said as they searched for a shooter in Christmas pajamas.

The teen victim was inside the deli at 627 Blake Ave. in East New York around 12:20 a.m. when someone opened fire.

He was struck twice in the left leg, police said. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.

It’s unclear if he was the target of the shooting. Police said he wasn’t being cooperative with investigators.

The shooter, who remains at large, was wearing a blue hoodie with Christmas-themed pajama bottoms, police said.
