Winona’s, Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

Winona’s is a family-run restaurant from Cressida Greening and Emir Dupeyron, who originally started it as a supper club in their apartment next door in Northern Bed-Stuy. I was invited to sample their seasonally driven food and natural wines. We started with their well-crafted cocktails. My dining partner had a ($16) made with pisco, Aperol, Shinola passionfruit liqueur and egg white. I indulged in their forest Old Fashioned with housemade mushroom-infused bourbon plus scotch, Pedro Ximenez sherry and chocolate ($16).
