STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Eight-year-old Charlee Citera of Annadale was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is now waiting for a bone marrow donor. After going to the doctor for a wellness visit in early September, Charlee was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow.
