The incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, inside an office at Montefiore Hospital, located at 111 East 210th Street. According to police, an unidentified individual entered the office and removed a 52-year-old woman’s wallet.

The wallet contained credit cards, which the suspect allegedly used to make unauthorized transactions totaling approximately $800 at various locations after fleeing the scene on foot.

No injuries were reported, and the victim was not present when the unauthorized purchases were made…
