26 arrested in violent large-scale N.J. drug ring, AG says

Over two dozen people have been charged in a large scale and violent drug trafficking organization that operated in areas of Essex County, officials from the Attorney General’s Office announced today.

The organization was known as the Double ii – Queen Street Blood Gang led by Rabiyah Sorey, 43, of Elizabeth, who was charged with first-degree racketeering, conspiracy, weapons offenses, assaults and other drug offenses, officials said.

Sorey is accused of leading the organization that ran an open-air drug market in the 200 block of North 9th Street in Newark, officials said…
