After 28 years, NY homicide victims identified as Mobile native and her daughter

MOBILE, Ala. — For nearly 30 years, remains of a mother and child went unidentified in New York.

“Jane Doe No. 3” and “Baby Doe” — as they were known — now have names, faces and a tie to our Gulf Coast area.
