STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The longstanding geographic disparities on Staten Island persist, with some North Shore residents more than twice as likely to lack health insurance than their South Shore counterparts.
The Advance/SILive.com recently analyzed data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s PLACES: Local Data for Better Health database to determine which parts of Staten Island have the highest rates of adults without health insurance.
