New York finally saw some sun emerge over the weekend, but unfortunately, it won’t stay for long as a storm system is making its way towards the Big Apple.
Last week saw the Empire State drenched by a relentless wet weather system that created flood risks as gloomy weather dragged on for days. But the weekend finally saw New Yorkers get a reprieve as the sun finally emerged and temperatures climbed just in time for a “picture-perfect” Mother’s Day on Sunday.
The sun will stick around for a short while this week but unfortunately a spell of pleasant weather isn’t on the cards for New York. Instead, more rain is brewing for the region.
