STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A former FDNY chief in the Bureau of Fire Prevention was sentenced Wednesday for his part in providing expedited plan reviews and giving priority inspections in exchange for bribes.
Anthony Saccavino, 60, was sentenced to 36 months in prison followed by two years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman of the Southern District of New York.
