STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Even after a serious, multi-car crash at a Staten Island intersection, traffic lights that were installed there months ago still have not been activated.
Last week, a crash at the intersection of Wainwright Avenue and Drumgoole Road East in Eltingville sent two people to the hospital, with one in critical condition.
The intersection, where cars from the Korean War Veterans Memorial Parkway meet local streets and traffic around the Eltingville Transit Center, currently only has all-way stop signs posted in each direction to control traffic…
