STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 35-year-old motorcycle rider was critically injured in a crash on the Staten Island Expressway on Thursday morning, according to police.
The crash prompted a large emergency response and lengthy delays for motorists on the expressway in both directions.
A 35-year-old male was operating a 2012 Suzuki motorcycle on the New Jersey-bound expressway when he collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck near Bradley Avenue, an NYPD spokesperson told the Advance/SILive.com.
