Duo armed with gun, zip ties in scary Staten Island T-Mobile stickup accept plea offers

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Last year, several family members of a man arrested for an armed heist at a T-Mobile store on Staten Island attended his court appearance, as a show of support.

On July 10, it will be their last time to catch a glimpse of the now 24-year-old defendant, before he is sent off to prison for eight years.

The defendant, Carlos Santos Vicioso, of the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, is scheduled to be sentenced in state Supreme Court, St. George, in connection with the March 2024 incident…
