STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A shot fired at a Castleton Corners playground Sunday morning left one person injured, according to preliminary information from the NYPD.
Police responded to a call of shooting at around 1:17 p.m. at 204 Schmidts Lane. The location is listed as Christopher J. Igneri Playground, which is near the Todt Hill Houses.
