STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Today’s beauty pageants celebrate both outer and inner beauty, recognizing women who embody these qualities.
Westerleigh resident Nicole Doz-Pillarella recently placed as third runner-up in the prestigious Mrs. International 2025 pageant.
The 31-year-old experienced pageant competitor, who’s a New York City Department of Sanitation Supervisor by day, wowed a panel of judges and swept the pageant circuit when she claimed the title of Mrs. New York International 2025 at the stage competition back in March.
Her win constituted her eligibility to enter the Mrs. International Pageant staged at the Meadowview Conference Resort & Convention Center in Kingsport, Tenn. — where 45 contestants showcased powerful performances.
Each contestant competes in an Interview Competition, which is worth 50% of the overall scoring, Evening Gown, 25% and Fitness Wear, 25%, and is presented with the opportunity to select a platform of her choice that she spends the year promoting.
