STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police on Friday morning responded to a severely damaged car on Front Street in Stapleton.
The car, an Audi with Pennsylvania license plates, had significant damage to its front and back left side.
It was not immediately clear what caused the damage. There were no other damaged vehicles in the vicinity.
An Advance/SILive.com reporter at the scene observed a trail of debris that spanned several yards. A utility pole was badly damaged in the area, though it’s unclear whether the vehicle hit the pole.
