NEW YORK, N.Y. – New Yorkers took to the streets in full force Saturday morning to protest several natural gas pipeline projects, including one slated for construction in the waters surrounding Staten Island.
The protest began with a rally at City Hall park that featured remarks by four speakers, including Lieutenant Gov. Antonio Delgado. A crowd of over 400 marchers then paraded across the Brooklyn Bridge.
