NYPD: Ride-share driver put in headlock during robbery on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is investigating the violent robbery of a livery driver last week in Great Kills.

The robbery occurred on Aug. 27 at about 7:20 p.m. in the vicinity of David Street and William Avenue, according to a spokeswoman for the NYPD.
