STATEN ISLAND, N.Y — Ten speed cameras on Staten Island generated more than $1.6 million in fines and issued nearly 33,000 tickets in a roughly two-month span, according to new data from the city.
These 10 cameras — part of a network of roughly 240 permanent and mobile speed cameras across the borough — issued 32,432 tickets between May 28 and July 28, the latest data from the New York City Department of Finance showed.
