Assistant principal hurt after object is hurled at his face from vehicle outside Staten Island school: Sources

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An assistant principal was injured Wednesday when someone threw a metal object at him from a passing vehicle outside Tottenville High School, sources said.

The incident, classified as an assault, was reported around 2 p.m. in front of the school at 100 Luten Ave., according to a spokesman for the NYPD.
