Fire at home on Staten Island prompts large FDNY response

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A fire reported at a home in Port Richmond prompted a emergency response of 20 fire department units on Tuesday morning.

More than 100 firefighters and EMS personnel helped to battle the two-alarm blaze at 1 Innis St., near Nicholas Avenue around 8:50 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the fire department.
