Over the weekend, a peculiar fruity smell was noticed by drivers on the 440. The scent was strong and very noticeable, leading to speculation and discussion among locals. One theory suggested that the smell was a cover-up for another, less pleasant odor, reminiscent of practices used in the past to mask the smell of the local dump.
