NYPD announces death of Staten Island man hit by car at dangerous intersection

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police have identified Robert Farina, 60, of Port Richmond, as the victim in a fatal crash that occurred last month in Greenridge.

According to the NYPD, on Sunday, Oct. 26, at approximately 6:45 p.m., police received a report of a pedestrian struck at Arthur Kill Road and Richmond Avenue.

That intersection was listed as one of the most dangerous on Staten Island based on 2024 crash data…
